Who we are
sunflowersmp.com is the website of Sunflower SMP, a Minecraft server run by whiscey (whiscey.net). Questions? Open a ticket in our Discord.
Ads from Google
We use Google AdSense, and Google Ad Manager for the free gift's video ad. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalised ads in Google's Ad Settings, and read how Google uses data from sites that use its services. Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent first.
The free gift
When you claim a free gift we keep your Minecraft username, the time, and a one-way scrambled code made from your IP address for that day (so one connection can't claim endless gifts). We use them only to give you the gift and to stop abuse, and delete them after 60 days.
Things your browser remembers
- Your light/dark choice and your Minecraft username for the gift, saved in your own browser (local storage). Nothing is sent to us.
Other services
- Cloudflare hosts the site and may log basic request details (like your IP address) for security.
- The server status comes from mcstatus.io, the Discord member count from Discord, and player heads from Minotar or mc-heads.net. Your browser asks them directly.
- The store is run by Tebex, and voting sites have their own privacy policies.
Children
Sunflower SMP is for everyone, but the site isn't aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
